- What is event #9, diving or 100 fly?
Depends on whom you ask. Technically, event number 9 is girls diving, and the 100 fly is event number 11. But, in practice with so few meets including diving, many directors simply number their events consecutively 1-22. Rest assured that it makes no difference to how your results are collected and stored. We have separate notions for event number and event ID that allow us to put events in any order and still align them to the correct events for Post-Season Entry purposes.
- My meet was at a Meter pool. Do I need to convert the results?
No. We convert all meter-pool results on our end for use as potential Post-Season entry times. We will display the original results in the Results display for accuracy, but the converted results are stored in the system for use in the Post-Season Entry process
- What's up with the weird team abbreviations? The assigned abbreviation is not consistent with our identity. Can they be changed?
We know these abbreviations may not be inline with your team identity, and for that inconvenience, we apologize. But, we need a way to be able to key each team in uploaded results to the correct team in the database, and since we're statewide, there are a lot of commonly used abbreviations that collide. For example, with WHS, we don't know if that's Weddington High School, Washington High School, Wheatmore High School, Walkertown, Watauga, Wakefield, Westover, Whiteville, or Weldon. Similarly, there are twenty-four (24) schools with "East" or "Eastern" in their name. If the meet results come in as "EAST vs WHS," we're at a loss.
When we laid out this system, we had to assign every team in the state an abbreviation that is both unique, and hopefully at least reasonably easy to identify. There is also the consideration for state level staff to be able to identify teams with which they may be unfamiliar which is why longer abbreviations have been preferred to shorter ones (many don't realize that HyTek allows 5 character abbreviations). As a result, several teams are using abbreviations in our system that don't align with their preferences. No need to print new T-Shirts, just use the abbreviation in your Team Manager and Meet Manager programs. As we expand to serve other schools and associations, we reserve the right to change certain abbreviations. These changes will always occur between seasons, not during, and will be preceded by a review period.

Are lead-off relay splits eligible for Post-Season Entries?
Yes. For all electronic results submitted, we retain leadoff splits from the 200 Free and 400 Free Relays as 50 Free and 100 Free results.
- Did you get my Post-Season entries? I'm just not sure.
If you see a link to a print-ready listing of your entries, your entries have been saved/submitted and no further work by you is required unless you wish to make changes, which you may do until the entry deadline.
- Can I change my relay lineups at Post-Seasons?
Yes! Any swimmer on your roster may be substituted onto a relay at the Post-Season Meet. This is subject to maximum entry limitations.
- My swimmer didn't get selected for the Post-Season Meet in one of their individual events. Can I now put them on a third relay?
Yes! A swimmer doesn't get charged with an entry for an event if they are not selected to compete in that event. This would make them eligible for a third-relay, for example. This change to your relay line-up can be made at the Post-Season Meet.
